TIME TO GET YOUR DISTRICT POLO SHIRTS
Our District Convention in Ipswich is only 13 days away and we not only have a handful of OPAT and Centennial Shirts available but only in the smallest sizes.  However, we do have a new supply of shirts with an embroidered badge as shown and these will be on sale at a stall at Convention.
If you are attending Convention then you can save time and have certainty by pre-ordering your Shirts by e-mailing your size requirements to shirts@lions105ea.com.  Then all you have to do on the day is ask for your order and pay.
The New Shirts have the same price as the Centennial shirts at £12 for sizes Small to Ex-Large with the 2XL being £13.25. Whilst the remaining OPAT shirts cost £10.
Orders can, of course, be sent by post but the charge for postage and packing is unfortunately £3.50 per shirt.
The shirts stall will also have a number of pins and stickers available for £1 each and at £2 the last few remaining EA bannerette.  A momento of our 40 years of service.

Dear Lions of East Anglia.
Once again, we will be collecting items for the local Food Bank during our Convention. Last year you blew us away with your collective generosity and we delivered around 400kg of goods to the local Food Bank, which was really gratefully received.
This year we are collecting for FIND, Families in Need, Ipswich. Please find below a list of suggested items.
We have also booked a market stall all day Friday 15th, if anyone can help us man this stall even for an hour or so to collect food please let Chris Hibbert – District Hunger Officer know in advance.
This is our chance to show our presence during our Convention Weekend and make a contribution to the people of this area, I thank you all in advance.
Items that are always needed are:

    • Long life (UHT) whole milk
    • Tinned vegetables
    • Tinned fruit
    • Tinned desserts
    • Tinned meat (chicken or beef)
    • Coffee
    • Sugar
    • Jam
    • Soup
  • Non-food items
    • Men, Women and Child toiletries
      • Deodorant, toilet paper, shower gel, shaving gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and hand wipes
    • Baby supplies
    • Nappies, baby wipes and baby food
    • Household items
      • Laundry liquid detergent, laundry powder, washing up liquid

Hethersett District Lions club (CIO) –  ‘Ploughman’s’ Quiz, Friday 12th April 7.30pm.
Venue – Mulbarton Village Hall, NR14 8AE.
Teams of up to six, £8/head to include ‘Ploughman’s supper’.  Bar and raffle.
All proceeds to BIG ‘C’ Norfolk and Waveney’s  Cancer Charity.
