Lions 105EA Weekly News 16th December 2018

Celebrating 40 years of 105EA
I am sure you are all aware that at our Convention in March we will be celebrating our District’s 40th , and last, birthday.  District Governor Mandy has requested that my customary Review of the Year should in fact be a review of the 40 years of our District.
Therefore, I am appealing for photos – in digital form only please – covering the major events of the last 40 years including the District Day Out at Pleasurewood Hills, Banham Zoo as well The Hippodrome; the mini-Le Mans; Operation Lionheart right up to “Feed the 5000”.  Other events that come to mind are the Holidays for the Blind and the Norfolk Broads Lions holiday weeks.
If any of you have videos of such events ( we do already have the Lionheart Video and Feed the 5000 broadcast)  and these are available in digital form then that would liven things up too.
As you might appreciate putting such a project together and squeezing it in to the maximum of 30 minutes allowed to me will take some time, so if you have material please send it to me as soon as possible so that I can start work on the presentation.  I would like to keep it as light-hearted as possible so amusing photographs from back in the day would be great.
My e-mail address as ever is saa@lions105ea.com.  I look forward to receiving your contributions early in 2019.
