From Stowmarket Lions
Lions Club of Stowmarket & District are holding a giant coffee morning to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support at the United Reformed Church, Ipswich Street, Stowmarket IP14 1AD from 10am to 2.00 pm on Saturday 15th September.  We have many members, wives and partners as well as sponsored businesses supplying cakes etc. We also intend to have a Lions cake showing our having achieved £1,000,000 through fundraising since our charter.  We are publicising the event widely in the press and with Radio Suffolk and have several local dignitaries including the Mayor of Stowmarket, the Chairman of Mid Suffolk District Council and our very own DG Mandy Hawksley attending and would very much like to invite fellow Lions to come along to join us and make it possibly the largest coffee morning in Suffolk !  I do hope you can come along and if you can, perhaps you could kindly RSVP to Rob Hale, Press & PR Stowmarket Lions
