Zone 6A are hosting the most easterly tea party in the uk , we wish to invite all Lions and members of the Lions family across EA , we are delighted that DG Nigel and Marion will be joining us , to celebrate 100 years of Lionism.
So please remember the date and book early.
The cost for this afternoon tea is £12.50 per person , we have live music and a centennial jigsaw challenge , games and special guests and in the nearby Gardens we have a floral display to Lions clubs.
Press coverage for the floral display is being arranged and we need as many of the Lions Family to be in the picture.
All clubs in the zone are busy achieving , but this event is a one off and a chance to catch up with friends , meet new friends and have a great afternoon by the sea side.
So please read the attached pdf and do book early for this special one off event.

From Chelmsford Lions – Centennial Litter Pick – Saturday 20th May from 10 to 12am
Come and join Chelmsford Lions and friends on Saturday 20th May from 10 to 12am as we help to clear the litter along the Bunny Walk beside the River Chelmer between the end of the Chelmer Retail Park and Anglia Ruskin University.
Litter picking equipment will be provided and as well as a drink’s voucher to be used at McDonalds that morning.
The Meeting Point will be at the blue Lions gazebo located near the viaduct between the end of Hill View Road and the pedestrian footbridge from Brook Street. Free parking is available at the University Ashby House Car Park in Brook Street.
This is being organised as part of Lions Club International’s Centennial Activities carried out by Chelmsford Lions Club who have served the local community for the last 47 years and we really would like your support on this event. Please contact mailbox if you are able to assist, thank-you.
