WISBECH CLUB: CHANGE OF MEETING DATE
Pease be advised that the next general meeting of Wisbech Club will be deferred from Wednesday 3 May to Thursday 11 May (usual venue, usual time), as a mark of respect for Lion David Smart whose funeral will take place on the former date.  The June meeting will revert to the first Wednesday of the month as usual.
David Lilley, Secretary, Wisbech Lions Club

From Centennial Officer Lion Chris Hibbert
The district agreed to purchase 5000 Centennial Beermats / Coffee Coasters which I have received today. There are 5 different designs advertising the four original Centennial challenges and one showing all four. The reverse of the mat is the same for all and includes the Centennial Logo and generic contact details (website and telephone).
They are in packs of 100 and we will be making them available to our clubs at a cost of £5 per hundred and I highly recommend that clubs have a pack of each so that they can distribute them as full sets. That means £25 for 500 beermats. If clubs want to request smaller quantities I can accommodate this too. I will bring them with me to the next cabinet meeting so if anyone does want some please contact your zone chairman or other district officer so as to minimise unnecessary costs.

I think they look great and could be used in numerous ways at beer festivals, coffee mornings etc. If they prove to be popular I can look at getting some more.
YIL
Lion Chris Hibbert
