31 days to go! Final preparations are taking place. The food has been sampled and it is truly amazing. So, even if you aren’t able to stay at the hotel, why not come to Host Night or the Banquet and Ball. It’s not too late to book for either of those events and you would be most welcome. For those of you who are already booked, next week’s newsletter will contain details of the competitions on Host Night to give you time to prepare your amazing entrance(s) etc!!

Dear Fellow Lions
I need your help please!
I hope you are all well and are being good Centurions! I have been asked to create a presentation for District Convention covering some of the many and varied projects that have been undertaken or are being planned for the coming year.
I would really appreciate it if you could supply me with a few photographs and some background about your projects so I can select a varied range to represent the excellent work being done. These may also be used by Lion Adrian towards the review of the year.

I would also like to ask for volunteers to assist Jim and myself as a Centennial committee for the remainder of the celebrations. As well as regularly attending the MD Centennial meetings I have also been attending District 105E Centennial meetings and have been impressed by the ideas that they have come up with for their District and feel that this is something we should do too. I have some ideas of my own as I’m sure Jim has which we would love to share with you as well as sharing the ideas from other Districts. I am a great believer in commonality and if we can recreate or duplicate something done elsewhere it must make more impact. I am also very keen to hear your ideas too so we can make the most of this unique opportunity. Ideally, I would like to put a team together from Lions from at least the four counties so they can help communicate ideas in both directions, but the more the merrier.
