Young Leaders in Service

Young Leaders in service is the project we have that will give us an opportunity to work with our local Youth, aged 12 to 18. In schools the students have to get involved with service in their communities as part of the national curriculum.  All we have to do is to get the students to log their hours of service, have them confirmed by the staff and we can reward them with a certificate (Silver for 50 hours or Gold for 100 hours) from Lions Clubs International signed by the International President. We can work directly with schools, Youth Clubs, Young Carers groups, or indeed any organisation that gives young people the opportunity to serve their community.

It could well be that by getting involved with this Project you could identify prospective candidates for our Young Ambassador competition.

There is a club guidance document available on the Multiple District website. If you click here, you should be taken to the document.
