At their July meeting the Council of Governors agreed that the following message be circulated:
All Clubs/Districts are advised not to undertake the following changes
MyLCI until there is a legal basis to do so:

•             not to use the online (MyLCI) New Club Charter process, as set out by Oak Brook, but continue with the paper-based process.
•             not to transfer Alpha Leo personal information to Oak Brook.
•             not to complete the marketing communications preference page which was made available in MyLion 10th May.
•             not for the District GMT Coordinators to submit New Club Charter applications online.
•             not to use the MyLion facility to enter Service Reporting but continue using MyLCI.

Clacton on Sea Lions Club’s  39th Charter Anniversary
On behalf of Lion President Jim Godden, you are invited with your partner to join us for our 39th Charter Anniversary.
We are celebrating this year with a Dinner and Dance at Clacton Golf Club, West Road, Clacton on Sea,  CO15 1AJ on Saturday 3rd November.  The evening starts at 7.00 p.m. for 7.30 p.m. and will finish at Midnight.  The cost will be £35 each but only £33 each if paid by 27th October. To book just complete and return the enclosed form to Lion Ben Carroll at the address shown with your cheque payable to “Lions Club of Clacton on Sea” as soon as possible but in any event no later than Saturday 27th October.

Craft Fair – Kings Lynn Lions are holding a craft fair. we have talented crafters from the Norfolk Area showing a range of beautiful items, knitted, painted, sewn, threaded and more.

CHARITY QUIZ
Chelmsford Lioness Club are holding a quiz on Saturday 15th September, 7.00 for a 7.30 p.m.  start, cost £5 per person, teams for 6-8.
Venue – The Keene Hall, Watchouse Road, Galleywood, Chelmsford CM2 8PT
Please bring own drinks and nibbles.
The quiz is aid of Chelmsford CHESS, a charity that looks after the homeless.
