From the Convention Team – Our District’s Ruby Convention (or Jamboree whichever you prefer)15-17th March 2019
Have a look at the attached Convention flyer which is telling you about 105EA’s Ruby Convention. We are going back to Copdock (now called the the Ipswich Best Western)after all these years. They have given us a great deal at £60 for bed and breakfast and a good deal on all the meals. To book all you have to do is call up the online form by clicking HERE, otherwise email one of convention@lions105ea.com, conventionhost@lions105ea.com or conventionbook@lions105ea.com.
Don’t delay as the usual arrangement for setting up a standing order is in the pack. Also the hotel only has 76 rooms and we are booking some overflows but if you want to be in Copdock you need to book now!
Many thanks
Martin (and colleagues)

From PDG Lion Jim Cawte – Wymondham – DISTRICT FUN DAY, SUNDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2018
Yes!! once again, District Fun Day will be happening and we are asking for Names of Clubs interested please.
With the Passing to Higher Service of PDG David Woodruff, we were uncertain of how far things had progressed this year but I am delighted to confirm the Fun Day IS ON.  I am pleased to head-up the organising Team and we are making final arrangements and costings, these will be advised as soon as we can.
In the meantime, we will be pleased to receive enquiries from Clubs that have been before, and of course, Clubs that have yet to experience this magical Day.
The format is similar to previous years;  Entertainment by Rollo the Clown at Gt Yarmouth Racecourse, plus a lunch box and drinks, before heading to the Hippodrome Circus for an afternoon of Fun and Laughter.
This really is a great Service Day out for the Children from our District.  Of course, Adults are welcome!
Look forward to hearing from you all.
Kind regards
