From District Secretary Lion David Pope
District Secretaries – Fellow Lions
Council has, via an email Decision this weekend, given authority for the attached Appeal (3 pages) from UNICEF to be circulated to the Clubs in MD 105.
I would ask that you use your normal channels of communications to circulate it as a matter of priority to the Clubs in your District given that Winter is already beginning to close in & relief is needed for the suffering children.

At our Cabinet meeting last weekend, DG Lion Derek gave an update on the Obituary section of the Lion Magazine. If like me you are really disappointed that our members who have passed to higher service now only get a 2 line entry detailing their name & club and not a few words about them and the service they have given.
Apparently there hasn’t been a lot of feedback to the Lion Magazine Management Committee, therefore if you would like to offer you feedback to them and ask for the re-instatement of a respectful entry for the Lion and their service please email them, the email addresses are: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org
Please also copy DG Lion Derek on email@example.com
in on your correspondence to the Lion Magazine Management Committee to enable
him to support the re-instatement with evidence of feedback.
